I really hate used car salespeople and used car lots! Yesterday, however, I received a completely different experience than most of us are used to! I pulled onto the lot and was immediately greeted by Steve. Steve asked me what I was looking for, brought me to the only car on the lot to fit my description without trying to upsell me or question what I already knew I wanted, and got the keys for a test drive without even trying to butter me up or talk the car up. I was already impressed.

The car drove great and the price was actually below the Blue Book suggested retail. I wanted to buy it and said so. Only after I expressed interest did Steve start to tell me all about the car’s history, which I really appreciated. I don’t need all the details about a car I don’t feel good about. We sat down to discuss the possible purchase and I was shown the Carfax report and the mechanical notes from the servicing center. Everything checked out.

The nice thing was, after years of haggling for cars that we all know are over-priced and just trying to get out the door with a fair price, I didn’t have to haggle at all! The price was already below blue book, despite the excellent quality and condition of the car AND the fact that the car is a highly sought after make and model. They would have sold that car to another person within hours as it had literally just come on the lot and still they didn’t inflate the prices.

I appreciated the cleanliness and orderliness of everything about the dealership, the speed and accuracy with which I was dealt with, the friendliness of every single person in the process, being treated like I know what I want and that I know what is going on, and being given a fair price from the get go. I noticed that all the sticker prices I saw were fair to begin with, and that alone would make me come back again. However, I think I’ll really be coming back because these people are not paid by commission and I feel I can actually trust them. Imagine that!

It was a great experience! We were desperate for a new vehicle when our clutch went out on my car. I knew about Ford’s excellent reliability and had owned one previously. Thankfully, Brien Ford was willing to allow us to use a cosigner, and we were able to get precisely the vehicle we wanted!!! It was a quick, painless and superb experience, and I would definitely shop there again.

Service department at Brien Ford in Everett is 2nd to none I have been in there several times for an oil change and some troubleshooting issues and have been treated with professional additudes and with the respect everybody wants. Rico is awesome and I just want to say if he leaves Brien Ford, and lets hope he doesn’t, cause he’s awesome. It will be a Huge loss to that Dealership he is the reason I keep comming back.
